Why do I need a differential probe for EV work?
Standard oscilloscope probes reference to ground, making them unsafe for measuring high-voltage systems in electric and hybrid vehicles. The 700V differential probe measures the voltage difference between two points independently of ground, enabling safe measurement of inverter outputs, battery management signals, and motor drive waveforms up to 700V.
