Advanced Driver Assistance Systems are electronic systems which aid the vehicle driver during the a variety of driving conditions. They are designed to increase both vehicle and general road safety.

Systems such as apaptive cruise control, lane assistant, blind spot assistant, night vision, park pilot and park assistance are included under the banner of ADAS Systems.

Calibration of ADAS systems is required, according to the manufacturers of the systems under the following condition:

Suspension components are replaced (suspension arms, shock absorbers etc.).

Post accident damage (bumpers containing hosting radar units or replacement of damaged radar units).

Chassis damage correction post accident repair.

Remove and refit operations (for instance subframe removal for transmission or engine work).

Replacement tyres.

Windscreen replacement.

For safety reasons, insurance companies (acccident repair and garage business insurance) are increasingly requiring that technicians who are involved the the calibration of theses systems prove their competence.

We offer an accredited ADAS training course designed for technicians, garages, and vehicle repairs / bodyshops which will ensure that you know how to recognise, diagnose and calibrate these safety critical systems. Successful completion of the in-course practical assessment will lead to you becoming an accredited ADAS technician and you’ll receive the all important certificate of competence.
