Diagnostic Package

The ESI[tronic] Diagnostic package is the entry point into professional diagnosis, repair and maintenance. It enables competent electrical diagnostics and offers a wide range of other functions for all covered vehicles. Known faults in a vehicle can be detected and solved quickly and comprehensively.

Vehicle information
Important basic information on all covered vehicles such as model series, performance, engine designation and drive type, as well as installed systems and associated information. 

ECU diagnostics
Diagnostics forms the heart of the system, shows installed systems as well as stored error codes and mileage in an overview, deletes error codes, displays actual values and prepares them graphically, activates actuators, resets service intervals, performs automated tests, calibrates sensors and systems and learns components. Vehicles with access-protected vehicle electronics are no longer a hurdle. With Secure Diagnostic Access (SDA), the central solution for bundling and standardizing the large number of individual solutions of vehicle manufacturers for the protection of diagnostic data, quick and uncomplicated access to secured vehicle data is possible, thus ensuring a smooth process in the workshop as well as extensive diagnostic work.

Spare parts
Access to the complete Bosch spare parts catalog including replacement and exchange numbers, service information and installation instructions.

Experience Based Repair (EBR) / Known Faults
Find the correct solution in a few seconds, even in the case of challenging issues. Experience-based repair (EBR) summarizes repetitive faults in several vehicle models in clear data sets. If one of these known faults occurs during the diagnosis, ESI[tronic] recommends a repair solution to the mechanic that has already proven itself elsewhere

Advanced Package – everything in Diagnostics PLUS

The ESI[tronic] Advanced package is the next level of professional workshop equipment from Bosch. In addition to the ESI[tronic] Diagnostic package, instructions and manuals from Bosch and manufacturer sources are included. Connected Repair provides the service and maintenance history as well as repair information and can document every visit via smartphone camera.

Manuals and Guides
Step-by-step to the cause of an error. Verified instructions and manuals from Bosch and vehicle manufacturers for diagnosis and repair provide information with the help of component test instructions, installation positions, removal and installation instructions, setpoints, circuit diagrams, function descriptions, bus overviews and helpful explanations of how they work in principle. 

Even more details and information are provided by the original documents of the vehicle manufacturers, which are available to users of the Advanced and Master packages.

Connected Repair
Consolidation of data from office and workshop equipment. Customer and vehicle data, diagnostic results, test reports and photo documentation via mobile devices can be created, sorted and saved.

Master Package – everything in Diagnostics and Advanced PLUS

ESI[tronic] Master is the comprehensive package in professional vehicle diagnostics from Bosch. It supports all diagnostic, repair and maintenance tasks and provides all the necessary information and functions for diagnosis, repair, maintenance, spare parts, documentation and data management.

Wiring Diagrams for Comfort Systems
The extensive database contains all circuit diagrams for important vehicle systems such as engine management, comfort and bus systems. It provides information on the direct installation position and designation of each component and also offers optimal efficiency through quick and easy overviews.

Maintenance Schedules and Information
Important information about the maintenance of the vehicles can be accessed via several tabs. These include information on service times, required parts, tire size and pressure, and central programming information, among other things. All tabs are provided with a direct link to the diagnosis. Vehicle-specific workflows guarantee that every repair is carried out according to the manufacturer’s specifications, thereby preserving the manufacturer’s warranty.
