A brilliant course, having attended many courses at Technical Topics, the 4 rights and the Core Diagnostic Process are not new concepts to myself, with this course it goes into fine detail of these principles and the fantastic benefits of using James’ ruthless logic, and The Core Diagnostic Process, a process in which is a series of ordered tests to determine what is correct with the vehicle (at some point, driven by logic, correctly ordered testing and data to support decisions) where you will arrive at the correct cause of the fault. The course also highlights personal misconceptions and areas of personal development which l urgently require to address. Gives you a full understanding of how AdBlue Systems Work This course was one that was really needed as it gives you a full understanding of how all the systems operate, its described in a clear way that you can put straight into practice. The course structure is very good and you also get the simple pitfalls to avoid and gives you diagnostic path to get it right. James and his team pass on all the expertise so we can become better technicians and without this great training environment i would not be able to make the big diagnosis we now make on a daily basis. Keep doing what your doing as its what this trade needs constantly to keep up to date.

This course takes the mystery out of Adblue, over time I start seeing changes to cars that have happened after I left the main dealers. Definitely a good idea to know why something like this is fitted, how it works and how to diagnose. When customers ask me what does it do, I can now tell them a bit about it. Left today feeling like I can tackle most Nox related issues that come my way, from start to finish of the course I felt it made complex issues explained into segments where it was so easy to get head around. What can i say, having done a fair bit of main dealer training, i was unsure on what to expect. I was expecting to dive straight into oscilloscope and diagnostics, working on vehicles, but we spent the first day talking about processes and mind set, which is something id never considered or been taught at a main dealer setting, it has really helped with my diagnostic process, and as for the diagnostic part of the course, amazing, id highly recommend this course to fellow technicians.

As always my experience was amazing, one of the best courses I’ve attended.

James is the Willy Wonka of Diagnostics. He has so many diagnostic recipes tucked away in his head.
No Umpa Lumpas but his knowledge, Enthusiasm and Passion for diagnostics is unparalleled.

I was a bit nervous attending this course thinking I didn’t have the baseline ability/ knowledge. This “baseline” was something I got in my head. James really takes you through the journey and I found out what little about I new about Adblue was wrong on a catastrophic level and James put me on the right track.

What can i say, having done a fair bit of main dealer training, i was unsure on what to expect. I was expecting to dive straight into oscilloscope and diagnostics, working on vehicles, but we spent the first day talking about processes and mind set, which is something id never considered or been taught at a main dealer setting, it has really helped with my diagnostic process, and as for the diagnostic part of the course, amazing, id highly recommend this course to fellow technicians.

As always my experience was amazing, one of the best courses I’ve attended.
